The base rate: $0.60 per unit
Wholesale clients pay $0.60 per unit; non-wholesale prep clients pay $0.70. That is the printed rate – it does not change after you talk to us. It covers the full standard pipeline:
- Receiving – unloading your freight at our Illinois warehouse and logging it in
- Inspection – checking units against your PO for damage and correctness
- FNSKU labeling – printing and applying Amazon’s required label over the original barcode
- Poly bagging – where Amazon’s rules require it (with suffocation warning labels)
- Carton prep – packing to Amazon’s box weight and dimension rules
- Shipping out – FBA-ready cartons handed to Amazon-partnered carriers, usually within 24 hours
What costs extra – everywhere, not just here
Any prep center will quote add-ons for work beyond the standard pipeline: multi-unit bundling, fragile wrapping, oversize items, expiration-date labeling on grocery, and removal-order processing. The difference between prep centers is not whether these fees exist – it is whether you hear about them before or after the work. Per-unit vs monthly minimums
Large prep centers often price low per unit but require monthly volume commitments or storage fees that punish small senders. Per-unit pricing with no long-term contract means a 200-unit test shipment costs you $120, not a membership. That is the right structure while you are validating products.
